Team Lead (Supervisor Track)

Why This Role Exists
The Team Lead is a hands‑on supervisory role designed to protect quality, support the team, and model our standards—while still performing regular cleaning duties. This role serves as a development pathway to Front‑Line Manager for the right person.

This is not a manager role. It is a standards‑bearing, culture‑carrying, execution‑focused position.

Does This Describe You?
You may be a strong fit if you are: - Dependable and consistent - Calm under pressure - Team‑oriented and supportive - Loyal and service‑minded - Detail‑oriented and quality‑focused - Comfortable following systems and checklists exactly

Experience is welcome. Coachability is required.
Experienced candidates must still be teachable and aligned with systems.

What Team Leads Do
This role blends execution + light supervision:
·      Perform regular commercial cleaning to company standards
·      Fill in on routes when team members call off
·      Train and onboard new cleaners using documented systems
·      Inspect buildings and ensure quality
·      Communicate issues clearly and respectfully to leadership
·      Assist with special projects and deep cleans

This role does not manage payroll, budgets, or hiring decisions.

Authority & Scope
·      Trusted with keys/codes and quality oversight (if applicable)
·      Acts as on‑site supervisor during assigned shifts
·      Escalates issues rather than ignoring them
·      Models expectations instead of enforcing through authority

Are We a Values Match?
·      Major League Performance – Consistent, professional, thorough
·      Serve Wholeheartedly – Clients and teammates come first
·      Coachability Wins – Learns, adapts, improves
·      Do the Right Thing – Even when no one is watching
·      Team Over Ego – Leadership through example, not force

What “Good” Looks Like
·      Buildings consistently meet inspection standards
·      New hires are trained correctly and calmly
·      Call‑offs are handled without drama
·      Communication is clear, timely, and respectful
·      Team members feel supported, not micromanaged

Growth Path
Cleaner → Team Lead → Front‑Line Manager
This role is the proving ground for future managers. Advancement is based on consistency, coachability, and trustworthiness, not tenure alone.

Schedule & Compensation Snapshot
·      Evening shifts (typically Monday–Friday, 5:30pm–12:00am)
·      Part‑time or full‑time options
·      Starting pay from $16.50–$18.00/hour
·      Paid training
·      Performance & anniversary bonuses
·      Holiday pay
·      Travel pay between buildings
·      Gas allowance

Non‑Negotiables
·      Reliable transportation
·      Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
·      Willingness to follow systems and checklists
·      Team‑first attitude

Helpful, but not required:
·       Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Culture Fit Check
This role fits candidates who value: - Structure and clarity - Predictable expectations - Teamwork over ego - Doing things right the first time

This role is not a fit for candidates who prefer loose standards, high autonomy without accountability, or frequent change.
